The mission of Collinsville School's Library Media Center is to provide students with a friendly, instructional environment that enhances knowledge; to provide students with the opportunity to improve reading skills, computer skills, and research skills; to ensure that students have access to the Internet and Alabama Virtual Library; to provide students with activities that enhance classroom instruction; and to motivate students to become lifelong learners.

Library Behavior Standards
- Enter quietly and remain quiet.
- No loitering, playing around, or wandering around aimlessly.
- Never eat, drink, or chew anything of any kind in the library.
- Do not re-shelve books; return them to the circulation desk.
- Keep backpacks off the tables.
- Push your chair under the table when you leave.
- Clean up all papers, materials, and trash before you leave.
