POWERSCHOOL PARENT PORTAL INFORMATION

Parents can view the following with their account:

  • Grades and Attendance
  • Attendance History
  • Notification Management
  • School Contact Information
  • Parent Account Preferences

Parents can also set notifications by text and/or email for up-to-date attendance.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW DO I GET AN ACCESS CODE?

Access codes will be available at school parent meetings or sent home with students. If you do not receive an access code, please contact the secretary at your child's school. 

DO I NEED MULTIPLE POWERSCHOOL ACCOUNTS IF I HAVE MULTIPLE CHILDREN?

No.

All students can be linked to the ONE account. If you have more than one child, we provide you a code per child. At initial setup, please enter the access ID and password for each of your students. If you have a student new to the district, they can be added to your existing account under Account Preferences. 

If you need additional assistance, please contact the secretary at your child's school.

WHAT IF I FORGET MY USERNAME AND/OR PASSWORD?

At the login screen, click the FORGOT USERNAME or PASSWORD link at the bottom of the window. You will be prompted to enter your email address. You will be sent a link via your email address to set and confirm a new password. 

HOW DO I ACCESS MY POWERSCHOOL ACCOUNT AND LOGIN.

The link to the PowerSchool Parent Portal can be found at the top of this webpage. Just click the Blue PowerSchool logo at the top of this page.

Or, you may enter the website, https://dekalbco.powerschool.com/public in the address line of your browser.

CAN I USE THE POWERSCHOOL MOBILE APP?

Yes, you can access the PowerSchool Parent Portal via the free mobile app available on both iOS or Android devices. In order to access the DeKalb County Schools site via the mobile app, you will need to enter the DeKalb County District code WGSC

SPECIAL NOTE: To successfully register/create your Parent Portal account, the registration should be completed on a PC or Laptop. Unfortunately, the registration cannot be completed on a mobile or tablet device.
